Kinesio-Taping bei Rückenschmerzen
Kinesio-Taping ist eine Therapie, die im Leistungssport längst etabliert ist und sich nun auch in der Allgemeinmedizin durchsetzt. Sie hilft bei verschiedenen Beschwerden an Gelenken, bei Verspannungen, Überlastungen und Rückenschmerzen. Das Grundprinzip ist die Verwendung eines beweglichen Klebebandes (Kinesio-Tape) aus einem speziellen Material, die Therapie wurde in den 1980er Jahren vom japanischen Arzt Dr. Kenzo Kase entwickelt.
Wie Kinesio-Taping wirkt
Durch verschiedene Anlagetechniken werden beim Kinesio-Taping unterschiedliche Wirkungen erzielt. Bei Rückenschmerzen wird das Tape meist in Form eines Kreuzes auf den Rücken geklebt. Der Fußballspieler David Beckham machte das Kinesio-Tape bekannt, als er im Jahr 2007 bei seinem letzten Spiel für Real Madrid das Trikot auszog und das Publikum das Kreuz auf seinem Rücken bestaunte und sich fragte, welche Wirkung wohl damit erzielt wird.
Es werden mit dieser Methode Muskelfunktionen verbessert, die Muskeln können entlastet und von Dysharmonien befreit werden. Rückenschmerzen werden reduziert, weil durch die Stimulierung bestimmter Hautrezeptoren das körpereigene Schmerzdämpfungssystem aktiviert wird. Gelenke sowie die Wirbelsäule werden unterstützt, es werden Propriozeptoren angeregt, damit stellt sich ein besseres Bewegungsgefühl ein, was der Entstehung von Fehlhaltungen und damit den typischen Verspannungen mit Schmerzfolge im Rücken entgegenwirkt.
Die Gelenkstabilität wird durch Ligamentanlagen verbessert, also der Unterstützung der Bänder. Für den Rücken ist wesentlich, dass das Lymphsystem aktiviert wird. Durch die Reduktion von Druck verbessert sich der Lymphabfluss, damit werden Ödeme reduziert, zudem wirkt Kinesio-Taping stoffwechselanregend.
Das Tape besteht aus atmungsaktivem, wasserfestem Material mit guter Hautverträglichkeit, Patienten tragen es etwa 7 bis 10 Tage. Die Bewegungsfreiheit bleibt vollständig erhalten.
Die spezielle Therapie bei Rückenschmerzen
Das Anbringen von Tapes ist eine schon wesentlich länger praktizierte Methode, neu am Kinesio-Taping ist die Beweglichkeit des Pflasters. Da herkömmliche Tapes starr sind, stabilisieren sie nur passiv, wodurch sich nicht beanspruchte Muskeln zurückbilden und später neu aufgebaut werden müssen. Zudem treten oftmals Stauungen im venösen Blutsystem sowie im Lymphsystem auf.
Bei der Therapie von Rückenschmerzen mit dem Kinesio-Tape wird bei jeder Bewegung die Haut sanft geliftet, durch die Massage werden Blut- und Lymphfluss angeregt. Entzündungen verschwinden, Schmerzen lassen meist schon kurz nach Beginn der Behandlung nach. Da das Pflaster den Muskeltonus reguliert, wird die Eigenbeweglichkeit besser wahrgenommen.
Bei ernsthaften Verletzungen kann der Heilungsprozess um 50 Prozent verkürzt werden. Entscheidend ist dabei, dass durch unmittelbare Schmerzfreiheit Schonhaltungen vermieden werden, die in der Regel die Verspannungen verstärken. Einigen Menschen mit der Tendenz zu chronischen Schmerzen im Rückenbereich wird daher vorbeugendes Tapen empfohlen. Allerdings ist eine therapeutische Begleitung durch einen Facharzt hierbei unerlässlich.
Zu dumm, dass ich kein Fußball gucke – hab von dem bis heute noch überhaupt nichts gehört gehabt, aber klingt toll.
Ich hab so verdammt oft Rückenschmerzen, das ist nicht mehr normal. Ist aber glücklicherweise auch “nur” wegen Verspannungen. Ich arbeit am PC und mein Arbeitsplatz im Büro ist leider alles andere als optimal und die Klimaanlage bläst genau dahin, das ist irre… ich hab ständig Genick- und Rückenschmerzen deswegen, aber Betriebsprüfer meint halt, das passt schon so *grrr*
Wenn ich den Job nicht dringend bräuchte und die Branche so überlaufen wäre (bin Buchhalterin, aber brauch nen Job in derselben Stadt, weil ich kein Auto, aber zwei kleine Kinder habe), wär ich dort schon längst weg.
Jedenfalls brauch ich ständig Massagesessions und verbringe die Abende zuhause dann in der Physiothermkabine, damit sich das wieder löst, aber wenn man schon etwas “vorbeugen” kann, umso besser. Wo bekommt man solche Tapes und kann man die daheim selbst anwenden oder braucht man da einen Arzt/Praktizierenden dafür?
Nein, die Tapes kann und soll man nicht zu Hause selbst anwenden. Dazu braucht es jemanden, der weiß, wie er die Tapes richtig anwendet.
